What is Yoga Therapy?

Every yoga therapy session can create sustainable change and empowerment, and slowly, a felt-sense of coming home.

First, our process is all about embodiment. During a  yoga therapy session, we use your body as a source of awareness and tap into your body’s wisdom. Neuroscience explains it as experience-based attentional plasticity. When we practice focusing our attention on the breath and internal bodily sensations, it helps us to feel less “stuck” and healing can happen.

Second, the yoga therapist serves as a guide or mentor along that journey, creating a sacred space where the client can remember their own innate healing resources. The skill and practice of the yoga therapist comes through an in-depth understanding of all the facets of yoga. Every session is unique, person-centered, and at that moment.

What will happen during a session and how will yoga help me?

Yoga Therapy is a client-centered, personalized approach for creating mental and physical wellness.  

Throughout the session, intense feelings and thoughts can be experienced safely, through the body. These feelings will reduce in intensity as they move out through the body.

Initial Session is 90 minutes followed by 75 minutes thereafter.

$100 per session

Six Sessions $550

Cancellations without 24 hours notice will be billed for the time scheduled.
